Jaintiapur is located at . It has 16719 units of house hold and total area 258.69 km².

Demographics

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Jaintiapur has a population of 98270. Males constitute are 51.02% of the population, and females 48.98%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 45998. Jaintiapur has an average literacy rate of 21.1% (7+ years), and the national average of 32.4% literate.[1] Religions: Muslim 81.2%, Hindu 15.9%, Buddhist 0.6%, Christian 0.4% and others 0.9%
